In March, things will be different than usual.
There will be an event week named HUMAN with daily events both in German and in English, mainly organised by Christian student associations VBG Zürich, CAMPUS live and the Dozentenforum (lecturers of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich). The following events aim at all international students and postgrads,
including those who do not identify themselves as Christian.

Monday 23 March, Peter Payne (https://www.linkedin.com/in/peterpayne/) will speak to us on the topic “Belief in Something: What is actually worth believing?”
He is Managing Director of the Institute for Credible Christianity, a ministry that helps students and others address hard questions and grow in their confidence in the truth of the gospel (https://www.crediblechristianity.org, including a page with resources). Since 2000, he and his wife Janet yearly spend one or two months in Europe supporting IFES Christian student movements. In addition, their work at InterVarsity dates back far into the previous century.

Tuesday 24 March, Heike Breitenstein (DE: https://zachariasinstitut.org/person/heike-breitenstein/)
will speak to us on the topic “What is a good life?”
She studied theology in Tübingen and Greifswald, and now works for the Zacharias Institut (RZIM) and VBG Switzerland. She enjoys speaking to students of different backgrounds about how faith can be intellectually credible, existentially satisfying and personally relevant.

Wednesday 25 March, Sam Gyorfi
will speak to us on the topic “What is home?”
He is the Associate Pastor of the International Protestant Church of Zurich (https://www.ipc-zurich.org), with a passion for theology and exploring scripture and a long history of youth and young adult ministry.
